Dr. Nicholas Dudas joined Peninsula Surgical Group in 1991, partnering with Dr. John Bartkovich and Dr. Philip Insley, Jr. Dr. Dudas graduated from Rutgers University in 1982 with a B.S. in Physiology. While attending college, Dr. Dudas served as an officer with the Edison (NJ) First Aid Squad, eventually occupying the office of Squad President. Dr. Dudas received his M.D. degree from UMDNJ – Rutgers Medical School in 1986. He completed his residency at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving the Resident of the Year Award in 1991.
Since beginning his practice in General Surgery in Salisbury, Maryland, Dr. Dudas has shown great interest in being involved in the community, coaching both youth soccer and little league baseball teams. He served as an officer in the St. Francis PTA, as well as a board member of Coastal Hospice. He performed musical theater with the Community Players of Salisbury and is currently Assistant Music Director for the annual James M. Bennett Rock-N-Roll Revival.
Dr. Dudas is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He has special interest in breast cancer and hemodialysis access surgery and pursues on going education in both of these areas of medicine.
